Distribution

Widely distributed. It has been recorded in Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Fiji.

Habitat

It inhabits estuarine zones, although it is more often found in freshwater[1] than brackish[2].

Maximum Standard Length

3.6″ (9cm).

30″ x 12″ x 12″ (75cm x 12cm x 12cm) – 70 litres.
