Congo Tetra

These iridescent Tetras are a great way to brighten up a tropical aquarium. They come from the Congo river which is how they acquired their name. Congo Tetras are fairly easy to care for given the necessary setup and needs. Nicely planted[1] aquariums are especially good to have for Congo Tetra as it will supply cover for them to retire to if they are startled or afraid. Either plastic or live plants[2] will be good enough, however it is good to keep in mind that live plants[3] will help keep the nitrates low.
